Motion offence against Man & Zone

This drill is good when you don't have a real C, but you have good
passers and patient team.
After the World championship 1998, we understood that in offence the most
important thing is to move without the ball and to find the real moment to
pass the ball to a player that cuts inside.
In this drill there are a lot of "1 on 1" and jump shoots situations which
take advantage of our players quickness against big players that are slow.
The offence is good also for "zone deffence 3-2" and against "2-1-2"

1 with the ball.
2 on the low post position close to the "AB".
3 on the imginary continuation of the foul line.
4 on the low post.
5 on the foul line, as seen on diagram 1
One 2 makes a "V-cut" to make free himself from his
defence player.
1 passes to 2.
5 makes a back pick to 3 that cuts inside and if he's free, he may get the ball from 2 for a lay-up.
4 moves up diagonally to the high-post position, and 5 makes a back pick to 1 that goes down to
replace 4.
1 tries to get a lob pass from 2.
Two 1 makes a "v-cut" and steps out to the imaginary
foul line continuation.
2 passes the ball to 5.
5 passes to 1.
4 makes a back pick to 2 that cuts inside trying
to get the ball from 1 for a lay-up.
3 goes diagonaly to the high post position.
4 makes a back pick to 5
5 goes down to the low post, far away from the ball, and tries to get a lob pass from 2.
Three 5 makes a "v-cut" and steps out to the imaginary
continuation of the foul line.
1 passes to 4.
4 passes to 5.
3 makes a back pick to 1, who cuts inside,
trying to get the ball from 5 for a lay-up.
2 goes diagonally to the high post.
3 makes a back pick to 4 who cuts down to the low
post, far away from the ball.
4 can get a lob pass from 5.
Four
Special situation

from 5.
This time, 4 steps out to the imaginary foul line
continuation.

Five If 5 didn't make a basket, we restart the drill like

Six 5 goes out to the imaginary foul line contionuation.
1 passes to 3.
