	I was born in Kfar Saba , Israel, in 1950 , having pursued a career as a basketball coach during the past twenty five years. My training has been broad range including a degree in physical education, a degree in general educational administration, and a diploma course in basketball coaching. Additionally, I have completed many short term seminars and continuing education programs in sports education and basketball coaching techniques.

My professional career has pursued a bi-polar route, with an emphasis on coaching teams in the Israel League on the one hand, and promoting sports activities in Israeli High Schools, on the other hand. My activities in the schools has been as Basketball Program Director, and Physical Education Teacher.

I am currently a head coach in the Israeli professional league A1 and A2 as well I am the scout for the national Israeli team. The highlights of my coaching career have included selection as Coach of the Year in 1992 and 1997. Additionally, in 1992 I was selected as the coach of the season when coaching Hapoel Holon. I have been instrumental in promoting professional womens basketball in my country and was gratified to be the coach of Elitzur Holon (Israel Women's League) when they played ther way to become the League champions and National Cup holders for the year.

My scouting activities on behalf of Israel's National team have necessitated frequent trips to the United States and Europe to assess the strengths and weaknesses of potential opponants. These assignments required that I observe, photograph, analyse and report, in detail, the strategy and tactics of the teams.

My role as a teacher has resulted in close contact with youngsters with superb abilities who have joined the ranks of Israel's tiop athletes. My achievements have included coaching and training of Ironit Tet High School's girls basketball team during the years 1991-93 at which time they won the National Champioship and represented Israel at the Greek World Championships for High Schools.

During the past eight years I have been recognized by my colleagues and consequently, was appointed to organize continuing education programs globally for the Israel Basketball Coaches Association.

During the off season I travel extensively in Europe and the United States, as a tour leader for sports oriented travelers.
